ABOUT
Always a dog lover, I have been enthusiastically involved in dog training since 2008.
Formerly working in the film, television, and video game industry as a camera technician in Los Angeles, I began training dogs for fun in 2008. What started as a hobby quickly snowballed into leaving my former profession to pursue dog training full time.
I have helped countless pets live better lives through training, successfully trained and handled many dogs in competetive obedience and protection sports (both IGP/Schutzhund and French Ring), as well as finished multiple Champions in AKC dog shows. I have also handled and trained dogs for movies and video games. Though I work with many large working breeds, I have extensive experience with all types of dogs, large and small. From chihuahuas to doodles, to shepherd and mastiffs, my knowledge base ranges from pet manners to behavioral issues and even high level competition training. I am the founder and president of Working Molossers United, and have served on the executive board of the American Working Dog Federation, American Working Malinois Association, and the Cane Corso Association of America. Locally I am a founding member and officer of the competitive Schutzhund club All Canine Working Dog Club and have coached multiple members to achieving their competitive goals. I have volunteered my time and expertise with the West Side German Shepherd Rescue as well as many other west coast animal shelters. I absolutely love training dogs and working with people who understand the importance of training their beloved pets. |
Training PhilosophyI don’t subscribe to any particular school or method when it comes to training. I focus on the dog in front of me and let that guide me to what they need. My personal preference is to teach behaviors motivationally, and I don’t believe that
any one training tool is better or worse than another. Beyond the teaching of behaviors, appropriate communication via handling and management will be of paramount importance to your dog’s success, and I look forward to being a part of that journey. Testimonials |
